HorMe (Mongolian Moxa)

HorMe, or Mongolian moxa, is traditional Tibetan hot compress treatment, found in the four tantras, and used over the past thousand years by Lama doctors.

HorMe's simple, gentle and non-invasive approach can be easily used and learned by all.

HorMe is especially effective to:

Relieve stiffness/pain and aching limbs, menstrual and muscular cramps, dulled senses, and cold kidney disorders

Help insomnia, depression and anxiety

1-day course - 10am-4pm

Learn how to combine natural ingredients such as aniseed, nutmeg, ginger, and garlic with specific oils based on a person’s body type to bring deep healing by reducing pain through balancing and facilitating the energy flow of your subtle points.

HorMe is an invaluable and timely one-day workshop that teaches you an important therapy from traditional Tibetan practices and gives you the ability to reduce pain from common and chronic ailments in the comfort and safety of your home.

We run this workshop in small groups. Our teacher, Evelyn, is an experienced facilitator and practitioner of traditional Tibetan Therapies.

At the end of the workshop you will have created your own HorMe compresses to take home and use immediately.
